A hulking bear of a man standing nearly feet tall, Piotr has long dark hair reaching to his shoulders and a close cropped beard. Like most Medvyeds, he has a distinctive rumpole nose and blue eyes, but he lacks the powerful, muscled build common to that family, his frame large, but with softness around the edges.
Born to an offshoot of the powerful Medvyed family which rules over the Grozni Forest in eastern Brevoy, Piotr was a short, lanky youth who only received knightly training because of his familial ties to Lord Medvyed. Yet even after finally starting to grow in his late teens and then not stopping until he towered over his entire family, Piotr’s interests were never in warfare, but in construction. Unfortunately for Piotr, with the imposing Icerime Peaks to the east and internecine warfare all but unheard of in Brevoy since the days of Choral the Conqueror, there is little call in the lands of House Medvyed for an engineer who wishes to work with stone.
Thus, Piotr set out for Restov in the south, with the grudging blessing of his family and enough purse to establish himself. Rather than designing and building great manors, however, he found himself enlisted as an officer and tasked with shoring up the city walls and designing new barracks and guard posts. Though he has excelled at this task, what he truly yearns for is to build grandiose estates that will long outlive him and provide a truly lasting legacy.
